How to play

Tower of Hanoi basics.

All disks start stacked on peg A, largest on the bottom. Get the whole stack onto peg C.

1. Click or tap a peg to lift its top disk. Click or tap another peg to drop it. Or press 1, 2, or 3 for pegs A, B, C.
2. Only the top disk of a peg can move.
3. A disk can never land on a smaller one.
4. The fewest possible moves for n disks is 2ⁿ−1, shown under "Minimum".
5. Change the disk count any time to start a new puzzle. Your best is tracked separately for each count.

This throws away the current puzzle and starts a new one.

Reset best scores?

Clears your best move count for every disk count. Can't be undone.
