How to play

Lane Dodger basics.

1. Drag the slider under the road to steer. Your car follows it smoothly, so you can sit between two lanes if you need to thread a gap.
2. On a keyboard, ← → steer and space starts a run. The slider takes arrow keys too once you've tabbed to it.
3. Traffic is slower than you, so you're always catching it up. Distance is your score and the whole road speeds up the longer you last.
4. Lorries only ever use the inside lane, the one on the far left. They're rare, they're long, and you'll be on top of one before you know it. Treat that lane as the risky one.
5. Reckless drivers wear a badge on the bonnet. They change lane every few seconds, and they leave skidmarks when they do. Their indicator always points the wrong way, so if one signals left it is coming right. Don't trust it.
6. Touch anything and the run is over. Your best distance is saved on this device.
7. Daily challenge in the ⋯ menu gives everyone the same traffic for the day, and you get one attempt at it.

Reset high score?

This clears your saved best distance. It can't be undone.
