How it works

Habit Tracker basics.

1. Add a habit with an icon and a colour. Tap the "…" swatch for more emoji, or paste your own.
2. Say if it's a habit to build (like reading) or one to break (like smoking). This changes what counts as "done" for that habit.
3. Use the Done / Not done buttons to mark today either way. For a "break a habit" one, they read as "Stayed clean" / "Slipped up" instead.
4. Each tap shows a short message under the buttons. It scales with your streak. A missed day is never framed as failure, just "try again tomorrow."
5. Your current streak counts consecutive successful days, up to today or yesterday. Missing a day breaks it.
6. Your best streak is the longest run you've ever had for that habit.
7. Tap a habit's icon or name to see more detail, like success rate and when you started.
8. Click any past square in the heatmap to fill in (or undo) an earlier day.
9. Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to scroll through older history, or back to today. Nothing is lost, it's just outside the default view.
10. Everything is saved locally in this browser only.

Reset all habits?

This permanently deletes every habit and all of its history. It can't be undone.

This will permanently delete this habit and all of its history. It can't be undone.
